Switching between novels

As a writer, it is highly likely you will at some stage want to work on more than one novel.

The Basic subscription is limited to a single novel, so if you’re using that tier, you’ll need to clear your novel to start a new one. Instructions for how to do that can be found here.

However, if you have a Standard or Premium subscription, you can have multiple novels in your Novel Factory account at the same time.

To switch between them, go to the user menu in the top right-hand corner and click ‘My Novels’. There you will see all of your saved novels.

The ‘Active Novel’ – the one which can currently be edited in the software – is shown at the top.

To switch to a different novel, click the ‘Open’ button underneath it. It will then become the active novel, and the different sections of the software will update accordingly.
