Work Offline in the Novel Factory

To work offline in the Novel Factory, click on the cloud icon in the top right hand corner.

In the popup that appears, click ‘work offline’

This will stop your app (either in the browser or on your desktop) from syncing data with the cloud. This means that your data is not being backed up centrally, and if you open the app on a different device, it will not have any work that was done after moving to offline working.

If you would like to begin working online again, simply click the button that says ‘connect’.
